About Us
Bible Text:
The Word of God is our textbook. The time we
spend in it is very precious and valuable. We would encourage you to bring
your Bible and use it in the service. We do have Bibles in the pews for your
use.
As an independent congregation, we are not tied with a denomination and
have no outside means of support. We have no endowments, pledge systems, or
member finance drives. We do not believe in debt.
We pass the offering plates and leave it up to the
individual to give their offering there with gladness in their hearts. The Bible teaches us to tithe (give
10% of) our income. We believe that as we do,
so are we blessed by God
and the church remains financially sound.
